Complementary Needs Assessment

During your needs assessment we will evaluate your space and clarify your home organizing goals.  A customized plan for your personal decluttering and organization will be completed. During this I will identify what is possible. The Needs Assessment usually takes between half hour to forty five minutes depending on how many areas of the home we are looking at.


Getting started

Once the plan is approved by you we will start by decluttering and sorting the items. I will repurpose what I can and if needed shop for other organizing items to help reach your goals.

Virtual Organizing is great for the DIY or if you are short on time. Virtual organizing has flexible hours with convenient scheduling to fit your busy schedule. There is no geographic limits to virtual organizing so I can help you where ever you are nationwide.


How it works: 

  • Virtual Organizing is done via FaceTime or Zoom. 
  • We work on one space at a time of your choice. A customized plan will be discussed to help achieve your home organizing goals per space.
  • I will guide you while you do the hands on work in the space. (After decluttering the items and space, storage/organizing product recommendations will be provided to assist in the organizing process).  


Simply Neat and Tidy will help you declutter and organize at your own pace to make your space more efficient in a neat and tidy way. This will create routines to help simplify and maintain your organized space.

Safety- Simply Neat and Tidy is committed to keeping our clients and organizers safe during these times. To ensure everyone's safety, the following precautions will apply:

  • If needed mask will be worn by the organizers and clients for in-home organizing and needs assessments.
  • Hand washing will be frequently throughout the job.
  • Organizing session will be cancelled and rescheduled if the organizer or client (or anyone in their home) are sick.
  • Needs assessments can be virtual or in person.
  • April Tidey owner/organizer is fully vaccinated and had the booster.

    Kitchen Pantry Refresh

    Using tiered risers help finding small spice jars is a breeze. Grouping items together in storage bins make meal prep and snack time easy. Shelf risers utilize vertical space.


    Kids Playroom Closet

    Fun for the the whole family. When you have multiple kids at different ages it is best to put the younger kids toys on the lower shelf. Family games are group together for all generations. Hat bins organize smaller items.

    "Being Neat and Tidey is not about throwing all your stuff away! It’s not about buying all new furniture and fixtures to fit all you paraphernalia into. And it’s not about ‘sparking joy’ either… it’s about reorganizing and decluttering!! It’s about repurposing furnishings that you already own, it’s about finding another space for what you already have, and that space is probably right under your nose – you just can’t see it because your mind doesn’t work that way, but hers does.

    April Tidey reorganized my home office/walk in closet. Now that her job is done, don’t think that I live a Tidey-life! My space looks lived-in most of the time, sometimes it gets really messy, BUT it is SO much easier to tidy up when I want to or need to (company!!). Everything has a place, and the place makes sense. It was an absolute revelation to me how much space already existed there. Yes, I did get rid of a few things, but they were items I hadn’t even looked at in years, and my pieces that have sentimental value are now all in one spot so that I may truly enjoy them at any time.

    April may be hardworking and no-nonsense when it comes to organizing, but she is also friendly and nonjudgmental. You can have her do it all for you or work alongside her - although I’ll tell you honestly, working with her and watching the process is inspiring – either way you will have a beautiful space with no cost to your ego and no stress."
